As the Global Art Curator for Vertu, Anthony launched the Vertu Global Art Commission with Richard Wilson’s, “Hold The Line” at The Saatchi Gallery and the Shanghai Gallery of Art in 2011. Vertu supported the private Museum/Collectors Forum, Hong Kong Art Fair 2012.

Member of the Whitechapel Art Gallery Development Board
Anthony was a Trustee of the Whitechapel Art Gallery from 1990- 1996, he was a board member of the Rambert Dance Company and the Development Board of the Institute of Contemporary Arts, he is currently a member of the Whitechapel Art Gallery Development Board.

Art Critic at Vogue
Anthony Fawcett was an art critic at Vogue when eighteen. He brought Man Ray to London, 1969 and worked with John Lennon and Yoko Ono curating the “Acorn Event ” and persuaded Lennon to create “Bag One – The Erotic Lithographs “. He worked with Andy Warhol and Charles Saatchi.
Beck’s Art Sponsorship Programme and Beck’s Futures
Anthony invented the Beck’s Art Sponsorship Programme and Beck’s Futures, the UK’s largest artists prize, he created the limited edition Beck’s Artist’s Bottles commissioning artists Gilbert & George, Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, and Tracey Emin. During the 25 years of the Sponsorship Programme he masterminded an annual programme commissioning Rachel Whiteread’s “House ” with Artangel.
